Every certificate that arrives by email goes through automatic extraction — and every extraction waits for a human before it counts. The Review Queue is where that happens.
Why review is required. Extraction is accurate but not infallible: a smudged scan, an unusual ACORD layout, or a handwritten field can produce a wrong limit or date. A wrong expiration date silently defeats the entire point of tracking, so Verifolio treats the extraction as a draft until you confirm it.
Reviewing an extraction. Open the Review Queue and select a pending extraction. You'll see the extracted fields side by side with the source document. Check the insured name matches the vendor, the coverage types and limits are read correctly, and the effective/expiration dates are right. Correct any field that's wrong, then confirm.
After you confirm. The certificate becomes part of the vendor's verified record, feeds the compliance dashboard, and its expiration date drives renewal tracking.
